  • Getting rid of kamokamo

We have just purchased a new house and there is a large patch of kamokamo growing where would like to plant a young Pohutukawa tree. We aren’t gardeners and are not sure where to start.

What is the most effective way of getting rid of this kamokamo plant and preparing the area for our Pohutukawa tree?

    Thanks in advance

You can dig and pull out it with its root. Hope this helps!

Do they come back every time if you leave the root on the ground btw? Just wondering how careful you have to be.
