Hi there,
The Calamagrostis at my work got very large all of a sudden and with recent huge rain fall in Central Otago they have all fallen over (hundreds of them!). I know it's not a good time to be pruning them but does anyone have any tips? I was going to cable tie them all to hold them up then cut them back too approx 500mm off the ground with hedging shears. Most of them were over 2m tall before they collapsed. I am just a little concerned they will struggle being cut back mid summer but i'm guessing they are pretty tough?
Any help much appreciated.
