  • Herbicide contamination of Capital Compost?

Has anyone that has used Capital Compost's veggie mix seen their veggies (in particular tomatoes, French beans, potatoes, yams) suffer from what appears to be herbicide contamination? Beans don't germinate or only produce 2 leaves, spurs and tomatoes have curled deformed leaves, yams lots of growth but no tubers. If it really is due to herbicide contamination i can't believe I'd be the only person affected, though i am growing plants in neat veggie mix 15 cm deep.Clopyralid contamination is a known problem with municipal composting. Wasteminz has produced guidance on how to test for it (https://www.wasteminz.org.nz/wp-cont...l-May-2015.pdf) and i think i have serious to extreme contamination. I've seen the same issue but to a lesser extent in their potting mix product also.

Images show deformed tomato leaves (OK leaves behind them are watermelon), and french beans grown in 'veggie mix', 'potting compost' and Dalton's big value compost (brown pot), not longer after planting, then again a month or so later.
