New Gardener in Paraparaumu wanting help

Hi , I have 3 big garden beds in my yard that i moved into and i want to grow veggies in them, there is existing dirt/soil in it that i went through and pulled weeds out etc.
what i need to know is how much compost should i mix with soil and should i mix more than compost. beds vary from 4mx3m to 2.5mx1.5m etc. all with depth of 500mm at least
    Any advise would be appreciated.
